The Lord bless you
and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.
Numbers 6: 24-26
My father is one persistent man
and my mother is a very loyal woman.
Happy Father’s Day, Daddy.
Without you there would be no me.
I would pick no other mentors for this journey.
When we are small, we see things differently,
as we grow we realize we are in this, equally.
There is no fault, no blame.
First Corinthians thirteen; love remains.
I love you.
Forever and always.

Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for to You I entrust my life. [Psalm 143:8 NIV]
Merciful Father, we come before You with repentant hearts, acknowledging our sins and shortcomings. Wash us clean, O Lord, and create in us pure hearts. We trust in Your unfailing love and rely on Your grace to restore and renew us. Thank You for the forgiveness found in Jesus Christ. Amen.
“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. [James 1:2–3 NIV]
Live Prepared
Being prepared is not limited to certain professions. It is a daily calling for every follower of Jesus.
“…Be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.” [1 Peter 3:15 NIV]
Scripture reminds us to be ready to explain the hope we have, doing so with gentleness and respect. This readiness begins with how we live. Our lives should reflect what we believe. Do we want people to learn about God’s love? Then we need to demonstrate God’s love. If we want them to see compassion, generosity, and truth, we must practice these. A transformed life gives credibility to our faith.
When Jesus has control of our hearts, His joy, love, and hope become visible through us. People may not always agree with our beliefs, however a life centered on loving others the way Jesus did is difficult to dismiss.
Live each day prepared, allowing your life to be an act of worship that clearly and quietly points others to Christ.
