We create a wall so that we are not hurt. It feels very reasonable, but by and by they not only protect you from being hurt; they also protect you from being communicative. If nobody can hurt you, nobody can love you either because hurts come from the same window, as love, as joy, as friendship, as celebration. If you are too much afraid of thorns you will miss the roses too because they are there together... and what is life without a rose?

In implementing the shift from E10 to E20 blended petrol, it was essential that the benefits of this transition be passed on to the end consumer.
Instead, motorists are being given a comparatively lower-quality fuel with 10% more ethanol, which can affect mileage and long-term engine performance, without any corresponding reduction in price or other tangible advantage.
This is simply not justifiable. Cost savings from higher ethanol blending must reach the common man, not just remain with oil companies and the exchequer.
Transparency and fairness in such policy changes are non-negotiable.

E20 soln-
1. Limit the blend to 10% as most countries do
2. Give customers choice at the pump - E0, E5 or E10
3. Pass Ethanol cost benefits to customers which haven’t been so far
4. To reduce crude oil imports, focus on EVs as China does

@IndianOilcl Why does every country like US, Europe, etc have a limit of maximum 10% Ethanol blend except for third world country like Brazil?? And more importantly they give choice to the customer
@TVMohandasPai@501_India@OfficeofHSP You say US and many countries use Ethanol. They limit it to 3-10% and give a choice to the customer. Only a third world country like Brazil does it more than 20%! Moreover, you are taking away customer’s choice @PetroleumMin@PMOIndia
