I used to joke w/ my identical twin that the one minute we spent apart when we were born was the best minute of my life.
Iโm older, so obviously I spent 34 years reminding her that I got 1 glorious minute of peace before she showed up.
She died last Friday. Her name was Kendra.
If you made it this far, thank you for taking the time to get to know my tweester.

And if you can't donate, sharing her story means just as much to me.
On her final day, when her vitals were dropping and it was clear we were running out of time, my bestie, who is an incredible jewelry designer, offered to rush a ring to the hospital. He didn't have anything that felt right for Kenny, so he made her a custom ring for her.
On her last day. John was Kenny's first BF and, very quickly, the one. He would've proposed after their first date if he could have, but Kenny wanted to wait until โafter the hospital,โ and he respected that.
Unfortunately, they didn't have time.

I watched her grainy livestream from home and cried texting her through the whole show. When she was a toasty mallow for Bad Blood, cheering for THE booty pop in Vigilante Shit, wishing for a new fit for Rep, etc. Iโve never seen her so happy. I was wrong. I saw her happier ๐๏ฟผ
