When someone knows they treated you wrong, they avoid you.
It's called a guilty conscience.
They lack the maturity to apologize for their disrespectful actions, and because they lack accountability, they simply remove themselves from your life.

By the time we get to the end of the year, the changes that may have intimidated you will be things you no longer fear, because you’ll have grown from them.
Change is a constant in life, and this one may be life-altering or something more subtle. Regardless, it will be an important opportunity for transformation and personal evolution. It’s best to let go of fear and resistance.
You’ll start to learn your triggers, repeated behaviors, and attachments that come with it.
As an example, imagine feeling like the family’s black sheep and acting out when cornered. It could be staying in toxic relationships and failing to recognize red flags or patterns of behavior.
Over the next 3 months, you will start to identify core patterns in your emotions, habits, and the people around you.
You’re going to be taking inventory, essentially. Whatever situation, outcome, habit, whatever it is that you keep finding yourself in or trying to accomplish, will be in your face. It could bring up feelings of depression, shame, anxiety, or grief.
You may start to work through certain ruts that you’ve been stuck in this year, and I do believe there will be significant changes. Things will not be the same.
Let’s just put it like that. But that doesn’t mean it’s all bad. It’s honestly good, because I believe you will start to overcome some fears in your life. At first, you may have some anxiety about these changes, which could turn into fear. But you will start to embrace them and overcome those fears, because just because things aren’t the same doesn’t mean they’re necessarily difficult.
You may find yourself colliding with a couple of people. You could even find out some deceptive information, news, or secrets.
The next 3 months are asking you to be on your p's and q's. Keep your head on a swivel. When something is wrong, it's wrong. When something feels off, it's off. Listen to that feeling, and don’t let things continue unchecked, because if you do, it might be too late.
Don’t turn against yourself because of the damage other people caused. Don’t rewrite your identity just because others failed to meet you with care. Keep holding on to the truth of who you are, even if you have to do it in solitude for a while. You still deserve peace. You still deserve real love. You still deserve connection. And none of that has ever been out of reach because of who you are, you were just surrounded by crappy people. And they’re probably the common denominator in their own story.
You have to remember that your heart, your sensitivity, your willingness to still care despite it all isn’t something to be ashamed of. It reflects your strength & humanity. You cannot internalise their treatment. And even if you haven’t found the people who treat you well, they exist. And when they do show up, it’ll feel safe, natural & grounding.
It’s important to remind yourself that repeated heartbreak doesn’t make you defective or unloveable. It doesn’t mean you’re the problem. The problem will try to make you think this of yourself! Some of the kindest people have been through the worst kinds of hurt.
It doesn’t mean you’re unworthy of love or connection or that there’s something wrong with you. When you’re hurt that many times by people who didn’t know how to receive the kind of love you give you eventually get tired of trying to convince yourself that love is still out there or it’s not your fault, when it keeps on happening to you.
This will break you down. The pain of what happened, but also the aftermath of having to keep living in a world where your pain gets misunderstood, downplayed, or completely ignored. When your suffering doesn’t come with sympathy or support & is met with judgment, assumptions or silence. It will make you retreat, isolate & start building a shell so thick even you can’t access your own softness anymore. Because you’re tryna protect whatever is left.
Maybe you’re too much, or too sensitive, or not enough of something that others seem to have. And that belief starts to sink in, until it feels like truth. Especially when dealing with these circumstances with no accountability or remedy from those who hurt you. It changes what you start to believe about yourself because of it.
It starts to mess with your perception. Even when you recount the events truthfully in your head, you stop feeling as sure. The self doubt creeps in. The loneliness starts to feel like evidence rather than a temporary emotion. And then you stop defending yourself to yourself. You just start believing that maybe something is broken inside you.
If you’re the one left standing alone, the assumption is you must have been the problem. And it’s even worse when you’re someone who knows you showed up with love. You know you made compromises, you tried to make things work, you tried to be open and kind and emotionally generous but none of that matters when the outcome still leaves you empty handed and unsupported.
And the world doesn’t make it easier. Society is quick to attach blame to the person who’s lost the most. If you’ve got broken friendships, failed relationships, or a trail of distance and disconnect behind you, people will look at you as the issue. No one really pauses to ask about the full story. No one stops to question the nuances, the effort, the layers, the intentions.
Eventually it gets into your self esteem. It gets into how you view your place in the world, how much love you believe you’re worthy of, and whether or not you’re even someone people can stick around for.
Even the strongest person with the most self awareness will begin to question themselves when they’re continuously let down. It doesn’t matter how much inner work you’ve done, or how many times you’ve forgiven, tried to start again, tried to be better, eventually it starts to feel personal.
The weight of repeated betrayal, abandonment or disappointment makes it hard to keep seeing yourself clearly. It becomes harder to separate your worth from the actions of others.
