Quick feedback after trying out a few trades with @Nomina:
+++ Questions / clarifications:
👉 when entering on Limit order on one leg, clicking on "MID" refreshes the price in the input field. Does that fix the price that will be used when entering the trade? or will the actual MID price be used upon execution?
ie. when I click "Place Trade" does it fetch the actual MID rate and immediately place a limit order on that trade, or will it use the limit price shown?
Recommendation: There should be a way to enter a fixed limit price, and then that gets executed. Another options should be clicking on MID - and the way that should work is that it should fetch the actual MID price after hitting "Place Trade" and use that immediately.
+++ Suggestions for entering trades, in order of importance:
👉 more options on Limit (best bid, best ask, mid) - also make relative limit orders execute on fresh price after clicking "Place trade".
👉 In fast moving markets, to get maker fees (and provide liquidity instead of taking), provide a Post only option, with graceful retrying if the post only order fails
👉 the best paying pairs have lower liquidity - a TWAP, or even better, an Iceberg feature would be really nice. eg. enter a limit order on mid/best bid/ask, with a small amount that likely gets hit. Then enter the market on the other leg with the filled amount. When the first limit order gets fully filled, re-enter a small amount, on the new mid/best ask/best bid, then enter the other leg of the trade when this one gets filled, and so on so forth. This would be a game changer.
👉 With the ability of being able to post best bid/ask, or mid, + post only option + iceberg, it would be way less risky to enter both legs with limit orders (not for everyone, I know, but it would make @Nomina truly shine as a tool for advanced traders who aren't into coding their own bots). To not overwhelm new users and also less experienced traders, there could be a switch to enable these extra options if someone desires.
👉 In order to prevent jumping back-and-forth between the exchanges order books and Nomina, show the available liquidity in a usable form (eg. currently available liquidity for the entered max slippage amount) - this would tremendously help with sizing positions
👉 SL/TP options for the combined trade: in % terms, $$$ terms, APR terms, corssing of MA of last X days APR (this last one would be a killer feature!)
👉 Make the user's actual fee visible when entering the trade (factor it into the estimated entry price?)
👉 Ability to add extra margin when entering trade for a more volatile pair. Yes, this can be done on the exchange itself, but would be a nice to have.
+++ Positions screen:
👉 Show margin health of each leg (and possibly ability to add margin to that leg, or setup some sort of auto-adding margin feature to help with reducing sleep-time stress 😅)
+++ Opportunities screen:
👉 Fetch user's actual maker/taker fees and count that into the Price Spread
👉 Have the ability to enter a trade size on the Opportunities screen, and use that to show and filter trades based on available liquidity, price spread (including user's fees) and recommended best entry (market+market, limit+market, etc)
👉 Nice to have: Have a column show Last X days of APR
Bug: I had one leg of a trade fillled by SL/TP, but the another one was left there hanging, I had to close it manually... Guess this is not the intended way it should work and is a result of being an early beta - just wanted to give feedback on this.

@levelsio I literally know no one using Cursor. All of my friends use Windsurf. Much better consistency if you have more than ten files. Add Roo Code to the mix and you're good.
Interesting to witness these pockets of reality that are completely contradicting
@satoshigallery Congrats on unveiling your third statue — it’s great to see this trend growing. 😎
For context, there are four Satoshi statues worldwide. The first, which started the trend, was unveiled in 2021 in Budapest, Hungary, by a different team.

I just witnessed a rare civilisational-level conversation.

These are 10 predictions they made. A 🧵:
@PM_ViktorOrban Now all one requires is a smidgen of motivation for the chaps to dutifully impregnate these tantalisingly tax-exempt mummies—after all, producing offspring does rather demand gentlemen’s involvement too… or so I’ve heard. Just a thought, old bean. 🧐
@NationFirstAust Why don’t you move to Russia for a few years and experience it for yourself?
Coming from a post-Soviet country, I can tell you that people aren’t dreaming about going back. Why don’t you speak for your own country and invite the Great Leader to “intervene and save you”?
I sincerely do not understand how developers tolerate the Python tooling.
From installing Python, to installing dependencies, nothing works out of the box.
How can the Python community be satisfied with the status quo? Is it Stockholm syndrome?
This looks amazing, would love to try it.
FYI: When trying to sign up for your beta waitlist, after filling in and submitting the form, the request to /api/airtable says "200 OK", but the body returns "error". And there's absolutely no feedback on the /waitlist page - it's just empty. Sent more info in DM.
