@DsrPrivate I’ve seen arguments that make the case this isn’t a crazy idea because it’s similar to what happened when Roosevelt revalued the gold convertibility ratio in the 30s or Nixon going off the gold standard completely in the early 70s. Those were defaults on obligations.
