@elonmusk@GadSaad Some people don't do things for reward or fame. They do them because it is the right thing to do. I am happy you have an innate moral compass.
It's amazing how all these Washington politicians think they are hurting our billionaire President by not passing a relief package stimulus check for the low income.
News flash: it isn't hurting him at all.
It's hurting the low income who are paying for all the price hikes.
Stop thinking you are punishing him by hurting us. It's kind of like that slapstick routine where they are questioning someone and punching the guy next to him every time he gets the answer wrong.
You all got in office saying you care about people. Start showing it!
If a Man claims to follow Jesus, but believes a lie so much that it consumes him with hate. Does he really know Jesus? The whole "my sheep hear my voice" thing makes me wonder. If you are His sheep wouldn't He tell you the truth? Or at the very least wouldn't you get that feeling in the pit of your stomach telling you something isn't right with the lie?
Too many people talking at God instead of listening to Him.
If that is you, go back and read the Book again. If you are ignoring the Holy Spirit, you aren't doing what God wants. If you aren't doing what God wants you are missing the mark. If you are missing the mark, that's sin even for pompous Pharisees.
If you claim to know God but are unwilling to forgive...do you really know God?
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Are you really listening?
Or do you just keep talking at God and pretending you know what He wants?
21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, โLord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?โ
22 Jesus answered, โI tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.[a]
Do you you hear what He is saying?
23 โTherefore, the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. 24 As he began the settlement, a man who owed him ten thousand bags of gold[b] was brought to him. 25 Since he was not able to pay, the master ordered that he and his wife and his children and all that he had be sold to repay the debt.
26 โAt this the servant fell on his knees before him. โBe patient with me,โ he begged, โand I will pay back everything.โ 27 The servantโs master took pity on him, canceled the debt and let him go.
28 โBut when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred silver coins.[c] He grabbed him and began to choke him. โPay back what you owe me!โ he demanded.
29 โHis fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, โBe patient with me, and I will pay it back.โ
30 โBut he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt. 31 When the other servants saw what had happened, they were outraged and went and told their master everything that had happened.
32 โThen the master called the servant in. โYou wicked servant,โ he said, โI canceled all that debt of yours because you begged me to. 33 Shouldnโt you have had mercy on your fellow servant just as I had on you?โ 34 In anger his master handed him over to the jailers to be tortured, until he should pay back all he owed.
35 โThis is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.โ
Love God, Love others. Pomposity is pride. Pride is Lucifer's sin. It turns the Bible itself into an idol. It makes you a modern day Pharisee or worse.
Are you His sheep? Do you listen to Him?
The message in the Book is simple. Everything in it can be broken down to two laws. Is what you are doing expressing love for God or others? Is what you are doing not showing love to God or others.
There were always only two rules.
Humans were just not smart enough to accept the simplicity and kept looking for loopholes.
Do you really love God? He said to forgive.
Also, my other question is still open. How do you repent for something you didn't do? I don't understand how someone can claim to talk to God who knows all truth and demand I repent for something I didn't do. The only conclusion I can come up with is they are talking at God and don't know His voice.
