@ItsMePatrickE@JoshuaBarzon@GovWesMoore@MarylandDOT I think it’s actually pretty interesting when people have such a strong connection and pride toward where they come from. Every place has its own culture and symbols that make it special.
@ItsMePatrickE@JoshuaBarzon@GovWesMoore@MarylandDOT I’m not from Maryland, so I don’t know much about its state flag. But I have to admit, Colorado’s flag is pretty recognizable and has a very clean design. I think state flags are interesting because they often represent the history and culture of a place. ☺️
@LouChilders1@SpotlightMDNews Holding leaders accountable is important, but the focus should be on solving the problem and protecting the residents who are being affected.

MIRACLE RESCUE: A Tennessee dog is back home after spending about 17 hours stranded on a narrow ledge along a 200-foot cliff.

NEW: President Trump says Iran is "coming around" as his administration prepares to unleash a new wave of economic pressure on Tehran.
"They are now coming around because there's not much they can say when a country doesn't have any longer a Navy and Air Force," Trump says, adding that so many Iranian leaders are gone that "I don't know who the hell to deal with."
The comments come as Iran sends mixed signals: President Masoud Pezeshkian says it may be time to "end the war today," while Iran's parliamentary speaker strikes a far more defiant tone toward the U.S.
Now the pressure ramps up: Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is expected to lay out new sanctions Monday aimed at further isolating Iran, with its ties to Russia and China presenting a major challenge. | @foxandfriends
@mdrealshow I agree that supply plays a huge role in housing prices. When demand keeps growing but new homes are limited, it naturally becomes harder for future buyers to afford a home.

@BikerPaulie89 I can understand why you’re not excited about the rain. After three months of dry weather, putting on all that wet gear must feel a little uncomfortable. Hopefully it won’t be too bad and you’ll still have a safe ride.
@Krippin407@MattForVA@DanBilzerian Trust is earned through honesty and accountability. In today’s world, fact-checking is important because misinformation can spread quickly.
@GoetzItSold@MoundLore That makes sense. As weather patterns and development change, flood risk assessments also need to be updated. It’s probably frustrating for homeowners who suddenly face higher insurance costs, but accurate maps are important for long-term planning and safety.
@GoetzItSold@MoundLore That’s an interesting point. Flooding is usually the result of many factors working together — river systems, land use, drainage capacity, and upstream development all play a role. Managing development in flood-prone areas seems to be an important part of the solution.
@burr_chip29147 The level of anger in political discussions today is concerning. Different opinions are normal, but personal attacks rarely lead to meaningful conversations.
