@codinghorror I've had one of these small ones for a few years now and it takes minimal effort. Just clean it every couple months and keep it anywhere remotely close to a light src. Surprisingly resilient. Very cool piece, people love it. Still want one of the big spheres though!
In my next life as a computer science professor I'm going to sit there for 4 minutes typing my sudo password into the terminal to ultimately hit ctrl+u at the end, type my normal password and hit return. They'll love it
