@tutoriaLinux finally posted the podcast we recorded back in July. He did all the work this time that’s why it took so long. I hope you guys enjoy it. Once I’m back from San Francisco we will record another one. Anything you want us to cover?
I went to visit @tutoriaLinux in Boston today just to ask why he didn’t edit the podcast we recorded 2+weeks ago. He didn’t give me an answer. Go bother home about it.
@tutoriaLinux is upset that I mentioned the ceo of hashicorp in our podcast. Did I go to far? Was there anything inappropriate? Should I have left it out?
When people ask me what I do for a living I have no idea what to tell them. IT? I don’t really do IT stuff. Programmer? I mean sort of but Im not making websites anymore. Devops engineer. First off that isn’t a thing and no one knows what that means anyway. SRE? I guess?
Mom: Dad said you invented a thing? ESLint?
Me: Yes.
Mom: What is it?
Me: It finds and fixes problems in JavaScript.
Mom: Huh. Do people use it?
Me: Basically everyone writing JS.
Mom: How much did you make on it?
Me: Nothing.
Mom: I don’t understand your industry.
Me: Me either.
