It was a privilege to be invited to attend Professor @Cardwell_PJ inaugural lecture last night.
Meeting more members of the @uaces community was an added bonus.
The UACES team had a fantastic evening last night at @KCL_Law, @KingsCollegeLon attending Professor @Cardwell_PJ's Inaugural lecture, "A Tale of two Europes: the External Relations of the EU" 🌍
Thank you for an enlightening and inspiring lecture!

@SilviaCorradin7@deamcg Oh Silvia, you’re so right about this. I tried one of the life in the UK practice tests some years ago and failed badly. But, I’m pleased that the stress is all over and we get to keep you 😊
When people tell me that they want to get back into reading but can’t seem to find THAT BOOK, I have some go-to recs based on what made them love reading in the first place
— here are 56 of them 🧵
@ChaddersPolicy @philip_chadwick @garyjuk How did you know??
And does Frazzle time said antics when you need to concentrate at work? Ripley seems to have a sixth sense to up the ante when I’m on a client call 🤣
If you’re planning a trip to the beach at the end of the month, then why not head to Brightlingsea to meet the @HWEssex team for fun, games and chats as well 🏖
We're excited for our Brightlingsea Beach Day on 26th August!
Join us at the beach hut in Promenade Way for a chance to meet the team and ask any health and social care questions.
We'll also have some fun games and chances to win prizes - see you there! 🎯

Catching up on last night’s #GardenersWorld
Violet and her garden was a pure delight.
‘That’s what gardening is all about. You win some, you lose some. That’s life’
Can we see more of her please? 😊 @BBCTwo
An interesting read on car free cities particularly how the benefits outweigh the economic concerns that haven’t materialised in this example.
‘’The city should not be seen as a road, but as a space for coexistence’’
https://t.co/Bmt1zmPbhl
The #HighwayCode includes a hierarchy of road users. It doesn't remove the individual responsibility we have for our safety, but places greater responsibility on those that pose greatest risk.
Whoever you meet, #TravelLikeYouKnowThem.

@ChaddersPolicy Yep, seen some pretty terrifying responses from this side of the pond already. Add in the fact this is still a major issue in Northern Ireland. It’s a sad and sorry mess.
I have many words but I think I’ll just point out the very fucking obvious……
This doesn’t ban abortion, it bans safe and accessible healthcare for women. How anyone can argue that is pro-life is utterly beyond me.
When the decision came down shortly after 10 a.m. ET, many of the clinics in trigger-ban states were filled with patients scheduled to receive abortion care.
Administrators had to inform patients that they could no longer legally perform the procedure. https://t.co/9zFA3P62dK
