@LeahHalan@osucowboytc The problem is, I could walk you hand in hand through the entire 6 acre mansion, and you’d still 100% support Josh. So what’s the point really.
@LeahHalan@osucowboytc Since I knew you’d ask that. The CAD information on that property has been removed now, to hide the fact how much Josh paid for it, basically to avoid online complaints about his estate. That’s his place.
@LeahHalan@osucowboytc There was a lot of social media spin from social media people claiming Josh’s estate was a gift from a church member. Completely false, and it was purchased several years ago for close to 2 million dollars. That was before DFW real estate nearly tripled in value and cost.
@VolHikerTrash@james120seven No he’s not. Are you saying that when Steve was saying this, and Josh was goofily chuckling along, there were no problems in the world? The only reason people think that the world has gotten worse or more dangerous is because pastors like Josh focus on that.
@kapchatfield@SanderJenk You do realize that pastors got involved in politics when they supported segregation and slavery right? They used the Bible to justify those beliefs as well. So is it just that all those pastors were wrong and pastors today are right?
@t42592@V_Sivadge@alisa_childers@howertonjosh Correct, but in Josh’s sermon, he claimed that Paul seeing Stephen’s stoning death made Paul say “maybe there’s something to this Jesus thing.” That is just sloppy theology to me.
@V_Sivadge@alisa_childers@howertonjosh This reply sounds 1000% like what she is warning against. Josh has done plenty of harm to former staff members and the congregation of Lakepointe Church.
