Always tricky to negotiate on your own, but it seems a bit low yes, depending on country (ies) . Usually those in store ads are very limited in time ( as short as 1 to 3 months). keep it up !

It's disappointing but absolutely the right thing to do to turn away people wishing to use your music in commercial adverts if they're not willing to pay for it's use.

Just got told $150 was too much to pay by a car company for the music they wanted to use for an instore ad. Nah
