@cmiller601 tbt to when our apartment smelled last year and we suggested writing down every single thing we made until we found the culprit and our roommates looked at us like we were crazy
@kstansberry I think learning to be a quick learner is important. There are so many tools we COULD learn, but we can't become an expert in everything. Knowing 1 or 2 tools really well, and having a decent familiarity of others goes a long way with employers #eloncom460
@kstansberry As soon as a company starts making insights from their social media data, I think it is fair to say they are a media analytics company. This could be as simple as profiling their audience from a consumer's reply to a tweet #eloncom460
@ansley_hamilton@kstansberry I completely agree. I also think that brands will need to start offering more incentives to consumers in exchange for data
@kstansberry I almost think in 5 years we will see more of a problem w data overload than we do now. Hoping data analysts will have a ~revelation~ in the next few years that data has to be selected/created strategically. Will become especially more challenging with the rise of IoT #ElonCOM460
@kstansberry I think ethics, especially regarding privacy, are one of the biggest issues for the industry. Most people do not know that almost everything they do is being tracked - should their be an opt-in/opt-out requirement? Do we opt-in by buying devices like fit bits? #ElonCOM460
@kstansberry I love that this industry is new & consistently changing. The endless opportunities for learning and growth will (hopefully) ensure I never get bored. The field is also so versatile that it seems impossible to not end up finding something I'm passionate about #elonCOM460
