@roch_town On another note, I stayed up late last night to finish Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow, and I loved it (without quibbles!). Reminded me of Meg Wolitzer’s The Interestings.
@roch_town Yes, I know what you mean about the ending. I did really like the evocation of the kettle ponds though, and some of the side stories (the main character’s mother)
@ThirdHouseBooks @haszombiesinit No problems! It’s one of my son’s favourites. There is also another William book if you want maximum Aunty points - William Goes to Hollywood, where he teams up with an intrepid starlet to find missing award statuettes.
These flood monitoring cameras demonstrate the extent of the rainfall and just how quickly waters rose, causing major damage during the recent #seqfloods 😮
Thank you, @ceo_nhmrc @GregHuntMP and @nhmrc for this incredibly important opportunity to promote and support #equity in funding for #WomenInScience. There is much work to do, but so much opportunity. Let's get started! @HMRIAustralia @UON_research @Uni_Newcastle
@kvanaren When you do eventually get to see it, S3 is so good! There’s one particular episode about Bandit as a kid in the 80s which is just spot-on for the Aussie experience at that time. Hopefully Disney will get on to s3 release in the US soon!
What a privilege to celebrate our fabulous @Uni_Newcastle staff at the University of Newcastle Excellence Awards! Just one example - the work by the cross-uni team that provided food relief to our students during COVID-19.
