In an unprecedented move, Mamata Banerjee’s Police has cancelled Kolkata's most awaited football match, the East Bengal vs Mohun Bagan derby, scheduled for 18th Aug. The tickets were all sold out. REASON GIVEN: inability to provide security for the game.

It speaks volumes about the condition of law and order in West Bengal, under Mamata Banerjee, if they are unable to provide security to around 60,000 people, let alone State’s 10 crore population.

But the REAL REASON is: supporters of both East Bengal and Mohun Bagan were planning to carry posters and placards seeking justice for the RG Kar MCH rape and murder victim, along with a demand for Mamata Banerjee to resign.

The game was cancelled fearing this kind of mass protest.

The mother of the RG Kar rape and murder victim narrates how Kolkata Police harassed them, to the extent that they had to fall on their feet. They were pressuring the family and gave the dead body after prolonged persuasion and pleading. Kolkata Police even tried to destroy victim’s car… Why?

So, Mamata Banerjee and the Commissioner of Kolkata Police should stop pretending to be “holier than thou", when both of them are devils.

The WB administration is openly threatening people, transferring doctors, for demanding justice.

Sad news is coming in from the #Howrah district of #WestBengal.

On the night of the 14th of August, 2024, unknown miscreants desecrated several statues in the #Bagnan area.

The statues of Swami Vivekananda, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar and Rabindranath Tagore were desecrated. Miscreants pasted cow dung on the faces of the statues.

The statues are placed inside the compound of Tenpur High School in #Bagnan.

As the news spread, locals got angry and staged a protest in front of the Bagnan Police Station.

On 16th Aug, West Bengal Govt’s Health Ministry has issued an 8 page long list of transfer orders, adding to the already chaotic situation.

On Mamata Banerjee’s target is Medical College Kolkata and Calcutta National Medical College. These two are the epicentre of protests against her fascist regime.

So far, five professors from these two prestigious institutes have been transferred out to colleges in Siliguri, Tamluk, Jhargram etc.

This is a desperate attempt to scare the senior doctor community into submission.
