Not trying to hurt the two-wheeler community. I’m talking purely about safety from what I witness every day in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
I regularly see bikes and scooters getting clipped or bumped by cars, autos, buses and even other two-wheelers. In a car, a small rear-end impact is usually absorbed by the vehicle structure, seat, seat belt and crumple zones. On a two-wheeler, that same impact can throw the rider onto the road, under another vehicle or into moving traffic.
Now add the rainy season: slippery surfaces, water-filled potholes, poor visibility, broken roads and sudden braking. The margin for error becomes extremely small.
Two-wheelers are practical, affordable and often faster in our cities. But if the comparison is only about protection during a collision, a four-wheeler is unquestionably the safer option. That is not an insult to riders; it is basic physics.
@volklub Seeing a sudden flood of appreciation posts for the Honda Elevate lately.
Genuine question: is this organic owner love, or is Honda trying to create some fresh buzz around the Elevate because sales aren’t where they expected them to be?
Nothing wrong with marketing a good product. But when everyone suddenly starts appreciating the same car at the same time… you do start wondering what triggered it.
Would be interesting to see the recent sales numbers alongside this sudden wave of praise.
“UPI will remain free for consumers.”
Technically, maybe. Economically? Not so simple.
We’ve already seen this movie with credit cards. MDR was charged to merchants, and what did customers hear?
“Card pe 2% extra, sir.”
“Cash doge toh no charge.”
Put MDR on UPI and merchants won’t magically absorb the cost forever. Some will pass it on through surcharges, higher prices, reduced discounts — or simply start preferring cash.
Even a 0.3% MDR means ₹3,000 on ₹10 lakh of transactions and ₹30,000 on ₹1 crore.
On a government spreadsheet, 0.3% looks tiny. On a merchant’s monthly books, it is real money.
UPI became successful because it removed this friction: scan, pay, done. No “machine charge”, no payment negotiation, no reason to prefer cash.
After spending years building a cashless economy, let’s not recreate:
“UPI hai sir… but cash doge toh better hai.”
That would be quite a Digital India achievement.
The person officially charged the fee and the person who ultimately bears the cost are not always the same.

E20 was sold to us as a win for the environment, farmers and India’s energy security.
Fine.
But somewhere in that celebration, did anyone remember the person who actually owns the vehicle and pays for the petrol?
Across the country, owners are reporting lower mileage and higher running costs. Surveys of older-vehicle owners are showing significant mileage complaints, and mechanics interviewed on the ground are also hearing customers complain about noticeable drops in fuel efficiency.
Then there are concerns around older vehicles — fuel lines, rubber components, seals, corrosion, compatibility and long-term wear.
And apparently asking questions about any of this makes the consumer “misinformed”.
Interesting.
We bought the vehicle.
We pay for the petrol.
We absorb the mileage loss.
And if something fails five years down the road, I somehow doubt the Government will be standing at the service centre with its credit card.
The Government says its testing shows E20 is safe and that widespread E20-related damage has not been substantiated. Good. Then publish the detailed long-term, vehicle-wise data openly.
Show us what happens to a 2015 car.
A 2018 scooter.
A 2021 hatchback.
Not just a laboratory-compliant E20 vehicle designed for the fuel.
And yes, one more thing.
Why does every discussion about E20 increasingly sound like a lecture from the Road Transport Minister?
Roads and transport policy are important enough. Petroleum and fuel policy has an entire ministry of its own.
Maybe let the Petroleum Ministry answer detailed questions about petrol while the Road Transport Ministry concentrates on giving us roads where we can actually achieve the mileage being debated.
E20 may well have national benefits.
But “national benefit” cannot become a magic phrase used to dismiss the cost imposed on an individual consumer.
Give people data.
Give older-vehicle owners clarity.
Give consumers a choice where technically feasible.
And please, spare us the sermon.
We already paid for that too — probably through tax on the petrol.

4+ hours without electricity and @tgspdcl has finally restored something — the bot reply.
Power? Still gone.
Kantivanam Colony, Kondapur has been in darkness since 11:30 PM. It’s past 4 AM now.
But yes, please tell us more about your WhatsApp chatbot. That should keep the fans running tonight.
Hi @tgspdcl, a power outage in Kantivanam Colony, Kondapur, Hyderabad has lasted since 11:30 PM. It is nearly 4:00 AM—over four hours without electricity and no clear timeline for restoration.
The infrastructure raises concern. Underground cabling and related work were intended to strengthen the network before the rains, but prolonged outages continuing through the night make the purpose of this work unclear. Additionally, due to ongoing underground cabling work, roads across the area have been dug up, and residents are now facing daily potholes and deep cuts on the roads, making commuting unsafe and difficult.
Families with infants and elderly members should not have to endure entire nights without power. We need reliable infrastructure, proper maintenance, and accountability—not the same issues every time it rains, both in terms of electricity and road conditions.
Please restore service urgently and provide a clear explanation.

@_kumbhkaran I got 256GB variant Nothing 3 lite of 26K. Ithink this is the best in segment in terms of software experience. Thought some glance settings needs to be disabled. I don’t think it is still available in market. Check some offline store if they have stock.
I have driven the top trims of both the 3XO and the Kylaq. The 3XO feels noticeably faster, and as a Kylaq owner, I occasionally notice turbo lag during overtaking. Drag races reduce performance to raw wheel power, so they are not always realistic. Still, I can say with confidence that the Kylaq handles much better at high speeds near 100 km/h.
I remember one event around 110 km/h in a Kylaq, steering through a slight bend at a waterlogged spot from rain; it remained steady and crossed without any disturbance.
Renting in gated communities is becoming unaffordable. At My Home Mangala, a few agencies dominate listings and refuse to negotiate rent or brokerage. Aparna’s 3BHK rents are also extremely high. We are a family of three with a newborn, looking for a reasonably priced 2BHK in My Home Mangala or another My Home community. Any owner with a direct listing, please help.

@NativeKannadiga In Hyderabad, staff prohibit bringing personal bottles into the dining area. I am unsure which policy permits this practice or whether it serves as a strategy to promote bottled water sales.
The aggressive transition to E20 fuel is raising major vehicle reliability concerns. High moisture absorption causes phase separation, generating abrasive sludge that strips tank deposits, triggers dashboard EPC errors, and causes premature fuel pump and injector failures.
While official testing categorizes these issues as peripheral wear rather than core engine failure, the lack of lower-blend options like E5 or E10 leaves motorists bearing the high repair costs. #E20Petrol #AutomotiveIndia #FuelPolicy #ConsumerRights
@tgspdcl Kothaguda substation. It has been around 2 hours since electricity is gone. We don’t even know what is the fault and why restoration is taking too much time. Tried calling fuse call office but it is always busy.
@excitel_rocks Is there a resolution plan for this ticket? Customer care says four working hours will be sufficient, but I have not heard anything. You seem uninterested in losing a customer, and I have recharged today yet the resolution is nowhere to be found.
@excitel_rocks my router is not responding after customer care suggested to switch it on and off. Before that LOS light was blinking red. I am facing this issue since morning. No technician has been assigned yet. Can you please assist in this regard?

@iSWUpdates Checked for series 8 watch. Got the update. I think they made a blunder on site to mention these watches. May be full feature might not be available. But surely they support IOS27.
