Vaibhav Suryavanshi needs to work on his fitness and behavior. The batsmen comfortably completed two runs, but he just kept running after the ball. Also, when senior player Yash Thakur came to shake hands with him, Vaibhav told him, “Go bring my cap first, then we’ll shake hands 👀
I was hunting for a gym near my home.
After visiting 7–8 gyms, I shortlisted 2.
I'd already made up my mind to buy only a 6-month membership.
Then I saw two offers:
Gym A: ₹12,000/year
Gym B: ₹13,000/year + a chance to win a Scotty.
I had to join a gym anyway.
So I paid ₹1,000 extra and bought the annual membership.
Later, curious me asked the owner how he could afford to give away a Scooty.
He said ↓↓↓
My friend opened a burger outlet.
Every nearby outlet was selling burger for ₹150.
Instead of offering a discount, he started a scheme:
"Pay What You Want (₹120–₹150)."
As expected 90% of customers paid ₹120.
Family:
‘‘Are you out of mind, Why are you selling in loss?’’
Reality: ↓↓↓

HUL just reported its best growth in 12 quarters.
PAT up 21%. Revenue up 8%. Volume growth highest since 2023.
The stock fell 3.36% on results day.
This is the single most important lesson markets will ever teach you. A thread.
1/ The market is not a results machine.
It is an expectations machine.
HUL's 21% profit growth is genuinely strong. But the street had already priced in 22%+.
That 1% gap between expectation and reality = a 3.36% fall on a day with great numbers.
This happens every quarter. Most traders are still surprised by it.
2/ Why did HUL's stock fall despite record results?
Because in the 30 days BEFORE results, the stock was already up 14%.
Smart money doesn't buy on results day. It buys 4–6 weeks before.
By the time the PAT number flashes on your screen, the move is already over.
Buy the rumour. Sell the news. This is not a cliché. It is a law.
3/ Look at Thursday's full picture:
→ Bajaj Finance: PAT ▲ 23% to ₹4,839 Cr
→ Vedanta: PAT ▲ 89%. Revenue record ₹51,524 Cr
→ Supreme Industries: EBITDA ▲ 49%. Margin 17.66%
→ Adani Enterprises: Revenue ▲ 20%. Net LOSS ₹167 Cr
One of these will surprise you most. Which one?
Adani's revenue jumped 20% — and it still posted a loss.
This is why you read the P&L, not just the headline.
4/ The 3 rules every trader must know before earnings:
Rule 1 — Buy the rumour, sell the news.
Price moves before results. By results day, smart money is exiting.
Rule 2 — Price in the expectation, not the result.
A 21% PAT rise is great. But if the street expected 25%, you are getting sold.
Rule 3 — Read the guidance, not the headline.
Management commentary on Q1 FY27 is what moves the stock next quarter. The PAT number is history. The guidance is the future.
5/ What should a trader actually do during results season?
→ Never enter a position the day before results. Volatility is a trap.
→ Wait for the post-results candle to CLOSE before deciding direction.
→ Ignore the first 15 minutes. Algos exploit the open move.
→ The real opportunity is 2–3 sessions after results, when the dust settles.
Calculated Patience is not just a philosophy. It is the results season playbook.
HUL reported its best quarter in 3 years. The stock fell.
The market is not unfair. It is simply always one step ahead of the news.
Your job is to be one step ahead of the market.
Save this thread. Share it with a trader who bought HUL on results day.
