They're doing it with everything from project blitz to abortion, voter suppression to tax law.

I'd also advise analyzing and questioning why referring to a singular "they" is offensive. Is it the pronoun itself, or the feeling of being told what to do?

No matter how you, I, or others interpret the data, it does no harm to respect people's preferences. At the end of the day, pronouns and gender identity never hurt anyone.

Demi was born female, identifies as non-binary, and goes by "them". Why is this hard?

Imagine that I'm trying to tell you that in addition to apples and oranges, a pear is also a fruit.

You responding "by that logic, a helicopter is also a fruit" isn't as good of a rebuttal as you think it is.

@MattTunseth As a white person, I don't see the problem. I've modified (and continue to modify) my behaviour to reduce my inadvertent racism and will continue to do so. I expect the same from those around me and my society.

They call it woke, but it's just being a decent human being.
