All of the planning and hard work came together last night in the RBL Swadlincote and District Branch Burns Night. A fantastic evening had by all πππ»
Morning Everyone,
I'm not normally one for personal griping on social media but I just wanted to say a massive thank you to a lady in a Red VW Golf driving up my backside whilst applying her make-up. If you'd got closer I could've applied it for you! π‘https://t.co/DKRbyRgAKJ.
I come across these earlier π just wanted to share with you, two of the most iconic aircraft I have had the pleasure to have been around in my RAF career (if you look closely, I was lucky enough to get my name on the nose doors of the Harrier!) π€ What's was your favourite?
Evening All,
Hope you all had a fab Armed Forces Day today? We had an amazing time at the @Nat_Mem_Arb We went to visit some old friends on the wall & got more than we could have wished for by meeting even more old buddies from @RAF_Cosford & @MWChoirs It was soooo good ππ»π
Are you guys up to anything this week to support our armed forces community? They maybe a family member, a friend, a work colleague or just someone you walk past everyday - they support us 24/7 365 days mainly in the shadows, for a few days let's put them in the spotlight π¬π§ππ»π
@RBAsbestos @safetyphoto I don't quote believe what I just watched π₯΄ that is a cringe-worthy moment for sure! Mind you, you must see all levels of ignorance shall we say.
Good Morning All,
Handy hints - 1. Don't leave your tools/equipment lying around on the floor to get tripped over π₯΄ 2. Get your gear PAT tested every 3 months whilst being used onsite. 3. Tidy as you go. Finally, 4. Don't forget a hot works permit guys ππ» #FirstTMaster
Last week we launched our report into the findings of our Telescopic Ladder Surveillance Survey- 4 OUT OF 5 of the ladders tested in this study FAILED the required safety tests, AND worryingly, some are being sold by our biggest online and trade suppliers! https://t.co/jGXn6XjfUU
Wishing Queen Elizabeth II the very best on her 70th anniversary - I am proud to say I have served you, the Royal Air Force and this country for over 22 years. Have a fantastic weekend π¬π§π
Was out on site last week and noticed this roofer was not fixing battens correctly on a new build site. You must ensure you comply with the fixing specifications guys. If you need clarification on this, please use the link below ππ»: https://t.co/Oydugf2Zrr
Tip - Don't use a shower cubicle as a storage area because you can't carry out a weekly flush of the shower which prevents the water from stagnating and stops biofilm/microbial growth. Not to mention you cant get in to do the quarterly showerhead clean! π
Tip for the Day - Don't leave your storage area looking like this. The HSE recommend that a rack inspection should be carried at least once a year by a SEMA approved racking inspector and on a regular basis by a company's nominated Person Responsible for Racking Safety (PRRS).
@safetyphoto I suppose they are attempting to try to make it more visible, the more accidents they have, the more tape they go through, the more they see the truck because its clearly bot working for the driver(s) to see things π€ͺ
@ClickBuyMore Evening Everyone this item does not work, please do not waste your money. We purchased one last summer in good faith to have in our small office and it took over a week to catch a single bug and I swear that was only because it wanted to see what the noise was all about.
