Two Killed for a Chain in Little Village ... in less than a minute a father and son store owners loose their lives to a criminal who has no regard for human life.

Chicago Police are searching for the gunman who shot and killed a father and son, ages 63 and 25, during an armed robbery at a jewelry store on the 3800 block of West 26th Street on Saturday, November 8, 2025, 5:49 PM.

Surveillance video shows the offender entering the shop wearing a Blackhawks hoodie and mask, stealing merchandise, and fleeing. Outside, he got into a fight with the two victims before opening fire in the street — broad daylight, traffic passing by.

In a statement Sunday, Cook County Crime Stoppers Executive Director Paul Rutherford called the case “a senseless act of violence.”

“Two hardworking individuals lost their lives,” Rutherford said. “We’re asking anyone who knows something to do the right thing. Even the smallest detail could be the key to solving this case.”

Crime Stoppers is now offering up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest or indictment in the case.

Senate Bill S227A has been introduced in New York.

The bill would make it a Class A misdemeanor to intentionally share files or code for 3D-printed gun parts.

Under this law, posting this image would be a criminal action.
