Inman Park Fest:
Green line not running there. (3rd year in a row)
Run For Grady:
Rapid A BRT suspended
Red Line:
Stops at Lindbergh (roughly a year ago, MARTA said this would stop)
This isn’t how you attract or encourage ridership.
Yeah imma log off because finding out a Council member proposed that a car be available for the Atlanta City Council President when the last Atlanta City Council President actually rode MARTA to meetings & across the city… 🤦🏽♀️
I’d love to protest all day every day until the crazy man is out of office but in America your health insurance is tied to your job so we still have to go to work and make spreadsheets in case we break our arm or need an inhaler while democracy dies
@kimy1691@glenn_tunes I can only speak to protests my friends and I have been to in the last week but there aren’t a lot of journalists there from big news outlets. They aren’t being covered.
@benpickman I’ll be honest, maybe it’s because my social media diet has changed, but the start of the season snuck up on me. I straight up missed it until I saw another post yesterday or two days ago.
Hey y’all, they’re trying to do the same thing in DeKalb County over by the Cop City site… it’s the same playbook of using black areas and the promise of economic growth…
@BookerGWash Look, I am a progressive Georgian and I think this tells us that power prices in Georgia are too damn high and rising. I would gently pump the brakes on proclamations bigger than that.
@DesThom17 It’s so so frustrating. My council person who ran uncontested never answers her phone. Or her email. Or any callouts on social media. I want more people invested in the political process!
Virginia Republicans leaned hard into anti-trans propaganda as part of their main messaging in the final months of this campaign.
It fell completely flat with voters. It did not resonate. Virginia Republicans came across as bizarre and detached from working class families.
