@ChristianAssad I listened to his episode with Joe Rogan (and Dr Chatterjee) and it gave me a renewed appreciation for sleep. Still find myself being too quick to sacrifice it for social events 😭 A long commute home doesn’t help either...
I recently tweeted on how poor sleep alters hunger hormones and appetite.
With my recent boy being born and needless to say broken sleep, I find it fascinating how this holds true specially in the morning.
I'm currently taking a fresh look at my supplementation, and have been asked what I currently take. My stack is pretty simple, tried and tested, and influenced by the likes of the awesome Rhonda Patrick… https://t.co/eFJklGKKuY
Last night was an intense session, an upper body workout with a buddy who thought arriving soon after eating ribs at a Turkish Restaurant would mean I’d go easy on him. Easy mistake to make, but one which I’m… https://t.co/EkFa4QnNh8
Last week I averaged 15g carbs daily - it had me awash with ketones, and I recorded my most productive week in quite literally years. It was off the back of a 48 hour fast, and was a joyous experience of tapping… https://t.co/cPaMnnMwpq
48 hour fast complete! Water and electrolytes only. Broke my fast last night with a mass of kebabs (meat only!) from a quality Turkish restaurant. I feel little thought is needed on how to break a 48 hour fast -… https://t.co/nPEHVVATL6
What methods are ya'll using to bring your data into one place to help discover insights? Will be revisiting @headsuphealth today, but who else should I be checking out? Am aiming for a dashboard to bring together data from: MyFitnessPal, Fitbit and Google Sheets #quantifiedself
UK peeps, recommendations for a CGM (continuous glucose monitor?) - previously tried the Freestyle Libre and found it wildly inaccurate, with the inaccuracy varying by the day (compared to blood test) and thus not even useful as a relative marker. Hit me ✨
@Thats_KeAndra You can't target the belly specificaly, but that'll happen as a result of reducing over all body fat. At it's core you'll want a calorie deficit, but I feel you'll have an easier and more effective time also going with a lowcarb, if not keto diet ✨
Hey @zerofasting, probably not the first time you've been asked this today, but is there a way, or a planned way to be able to follow a friend and their current fast? 🙏
Carnivore diet update: lost 12 pounds, feel amazing. Lots of aches and pains went away, and I have improvements in my vitiligo. I’m impressed.
I haven’t decided if I’m going to keep eating like this but this month… https://t.co/9MraKJyTYp
Back on a strict keto carnivore run and touching upon the idea of ‘No mans land’ when going very low carb, while not quite keto... https://t.co/sv0gJvROmY
Hey @GermanDoner_UK, what's the carb content of your 'Gym box' - seems many have asked for many months now, with no response from you. Can this information finally be added to the website please?
When you sweat, you’re not sweating out water. You’re sweating out salt, iodine, potassium, calcium, magnesium, chromium, copper, zinc, iron and water. Stop drinking plain water to “hydrate”.
Can't get enough of Bikram Yoga at the moment 😶 Hitting a candlelit session at @TheYogaQuarter tonight, Friday nights may never be the same 🙌🏻 More on my current training here: https://t.co/9yAQempEyR #BikramYoga
@drnickgreiner I quit (again ☺️) 8 days ago, I think I’m better without. It contributes to my overthinking, has me thinking very short term, the cost adds up, makes my energy unstable (highs and crashes), masks other causes of fatigue, interrupts a fast etc..
Had a poor experience with the Abbott Freestyle Libre CGM - inaccurate, with which the degree would vary by the day. A shame considering my excitement. Wanting to try the Dexcom, how have ya'll found it? Hoping it's easy enough to get hold of in the UK? 😬 #keto
