@cineworld hey the showing of Sinners in IMAX in Dublin this evening was noticeably out of focus and the house lights never went fully out. Complained early on and nothing was done. Paid €40 for two tickets, that's a joke considering what we got. Would like a reimbursement.

This entire framing is a bait & switch—few artists feel threatened by generative AI due to its ability to create quality work. They're threatened because too many clients don't care about the quality of the output, and AI will erode rates for creative work across the board.

Never had a problem with the Black Freighter bits when reading Watchmen and the animated bits of the Ultimate Cut of the movie wouldn't bother me at all... if the animation wasn't cheapshit quality.
