The first week of weed withdrawal can be loud: youโre trying to quit cannabis, and your brain keeps asking for THC.
Craving hits -> you reach for your phone -> you need craving help that works fast.
Not shame. Not pep talks.
Leaves (@tryleavesapp) is what I wished I had when I quit cannabis.
Made by a solo dev for withdrawal/craving moments:
* SOS button always on screen
* Breathing + grounding to ride it out
* "Wait 10 min" delay timer
* Slip reset + private progress tracking
Reply "BETA" and Iโll DM you the link.

I feel like there's definitely an overstimulation of AI news (at least in my own timeline/bubble ๐ ) to keep up with. Everyone/everything's moving at such a fast pace, and it really feels like if you're not on top of every single little thing, you're behind. Personally speaking, this is pretty stressful.

@SethGRosenberg@lottsnomad@Wealthsimple@Revolut@get_aspora It's a bear market for crypto right now, but is this not a market it can disrupt? It still has a bad name for many, but it's certainly more reputable than before. Especially with Ethereum having an ETF, which allows for smart contracts and fintech disruption apps.
@Craig_Gigged@madsmadsdk Thanks for being real here, guys. I think there's definitely survivorship bias here where we only get to see the people making insane MRR's but rarely honest tweets like these that show up in our feed because they're not as "sexy".
@alexcooldev I found a market/personal motivation with quitting weed. Most quit apps track streaks, but miss the craving moment when you actually need help. https://t.co/AdQZNqAAWw

PewDiePie getting redpilled into Linux is the most based character arc of 2025. Ditching Windows for Arch Linux? Absolute king move. ๐ง๐ #LinuxMasterRace https://t.co/rJGrNywsyZ
We do not appreciate open source developers nearly enough.
Most of these devs do not get paid - they do the work purely for the love of the game.
It's truly amazing how these communities of devs have come together to build the software foundations that power the world today.
Linux, Git, Docker, almost every programming language, Postgres, Chromium, etc.
The list goes on forever. I know some of these are now backed by foundations, but they still receive plenty of community support.
ai has gotten pretty good at generating code, but has a long ways to go when it comes to debugging code.
which means teams that rely heavily on ai generated code are going to be in a world of pain when that first critical incident happens.
