On Easter morning, this is what President Trump posted.
Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness.
I know all of you and him and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit.
I’m not defending Iran but let’s be honest about all of this.
The Strait is closed because the US and Israel started the unprovoked war against Iran based on the same nuclear lies they’ve been telling for decades, that any moment Iran would develop a nuclear weapon.
You know who has nuclear weapons?
Israel.
They are more than capable of defending themselves without the US having to fight their wars, kill innocent people and children, and pay for it.
Trump threatening to bomb power plants and bridges hurts the Iranian people, the very people Trump claimed he was freeing.
On Easter, of all days, we as Christians should be reminded that the son of God died and rose from the grave so that we can be forgiven once and for all of our sins. Jesus commanded us to love one another and forgive one another. Even our enemies.
Our President is not a Christian and his words and actions should not be supported by Christians.
Christians in the administration should be pursuing peace. Urging the President to make peace.
Not escalating war that is hurting people.
This NOT what we promised the American people when they overwhelmingly voted in 2024, I know, I was there more than most.
This is not making America great again, this is evil.
I have listened to him. I have also read the comments.
Almost 90% disagree with what he said.
But I believe the problem is not the pastor. The problem is us. We no longer understand what tithing is.
Many people have reduced it to something very small - giving money to a church or enriching a pastor. Yet that is not the principle behind it.
Why did God ask for tithe in the first place? Do we really understand the purpose?
Let me ask a simple question. Are taxes not deducted before we even receive our salaries? They are taken first. We do not negotiate them. They are enforced.
Tithing is different. It is not enforced. It is voluntary. It flows from a willing and obedient heart.
And interestingly, in the entire Bible there is only one place where God invites human beings to test Him. Not in wealth, not in power, not in success - but in tithing.
In Book of Malachi 3:10, He says, “Bring the whole tithe… and test me in this.” In other words, try it and see what happens.
Tithing is a principle that shifts our focus from ourselves to God. It is an acknowledgment that what we have is not purely the product of our effort, but also the result of divine blessing.
Think about Abraham. What was the test placed before him? To sacrifice his only son. He obeyed. And in the end the child was spared and the blessing multiplied.
The same principle is at work here.
When we return tithe, we are not paying anything. We are acknowledging ownership. We are returning to God what already belongs to Him.
And that return is not to a pastor. It is not to an institution. It is to God.
Let me say something that may surprise many people: returning tithe is not subtraction. It is not even a simple addition.
It is multiplication.
But that tithing requires something many people struggle with today - obedience first. What you decide to do is personal, whether to return or not.
