Sometimes life throws you a curve ball that you couldn't have predicted in a million years. Kevin Mark-Watts @kevin980 was expecting to be made redundant when Simon Jordan sold The Pocket Phone Shop to the mobile operator One2One (later rebranded to T-Mobile) in 2000 for roughly £75 million. What he didn't know was that Jordan was going to buy Crystal Palace Football club with his windfall, and wanted Kevin to go with him.
