Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, and others were inducted into the Hall of Fame this past weekend.
The part you didn't know?
A former car salesman that has never played in, coached, or broadcasted a single NBA game was also inducted.
This is his incredible story 👇👇👇
@Sakiera_Hudson You can annotate the video with a note. I like it when people do this - everybody makes little mistakes, the correction shows that you've attended to detail w/o losing perspective. (In Windows, right click on the video, open with Photos, go to the appropriate spot, etc).
@AlbertsonB2 most corrupt? (imprisoned leaders)
least effective? (crumbling infrastructure, high taxes)
least democratic? (felon disenfranchisement, gerrymandering, etc)
least humane? (treatment of juvenile offenders)
least enlightened? (- support for k12, higher ed)
FL sucks on last 3.
@SachaEpskamp this is very cool / wondering where the data and links come from and if this could be used to predict the stability of some possible coalitions. PVV doesn't play well with anyone, true? But their presence makes for many consistent (+++ or +--) triangles, so are they stabilizing?
@Ivuoma @AngelicaLeighOB Alex did a ride last summer, in the midst of BLM protests, where, exhausted, he said that "there are only three places he feels safe - home, his mama's house, and on this bike."
It's really stayed with me. (I think it was his 8/28 club bangers ride).
@Ivuoma congratulations / I did this ride yesterday too and loved it and the playlist. Hannah F too. (now you can wait on your stylish century t-shirt)
“Everyone wants to say, ‘that young man can’t figure it out.’ But no one wants to say the organization can’t figure it out.”
Draymond Green sounds off on a double standard he sees in the NBA.
@Sakiera_Hudson also, consider using the peloton to give you structure in the pandemic- every day quit work at a little after 5, move to the bike, etc. works for me. But again it’s the endorphins, learning to push yourself just hard enough so that you find yourself feeling great afterwards
@Sakiera_Hudson Aerobic exercise is an acquired taste - when you build up an association between peloton and endorphin rush you’ll be there. Loud r & b helps me. Filter classes by artist. Try different instructors, maybe the all for one rides. Check out r/peloton cycle for ideas.
