@meathead I grew up in New England, but now live in NC and eat SC peaches all summer. Funny, but we’ve been grilling peaches with butter and brown sugar or maple syrup, and serving them with vanilla ice cream forever, BUT no one around here in NC has ever tried it before.

@meathead Couldn’t agree more on the results! We have had one of these for 20 years; a gift from my parents to coincide with their use of the same thing when they discovered the microwave’s best uses 20 years before that. It works amazingly well, especially with a blanket of paper towels if you don’t want the rendered bacon fat. For us though, we seldom use it now, as I find it more economical to just put a full package of bacon in the oven, as our family doesn’t really need bacon day to day.
Still an amazing, clean, simple, better than average way to cook bacon!

I bought this plastic gadget for microwave bacon. It is now my favorite way to cook bacon. They always come out exactly the way I like them medium rare with slightly crunchy meat and tender fat. Can you see how clean the drippings are? It comes with a cover to prevent spattering
