@BenjaminSolak Kyle’s been there, done that with three QBs. Took an undrafted rookie into the postseason. Didn’t win the COTY. Almost ended up in the Super Bowl anyway.

Still hasn’t won the award. Ben Johnson is amazing, but Kyle Shanahan is the leader in the clubhouse.

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@mattbarrows Or Pablo Torre’s episode where the guy who originally posited the substation theory basically said, “oops, my bad”

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@GIANT49RWARRIOR @sfdata9ers Yeah, saw that. Prob should his name right.

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@JasonAponte2103 I think he’s jealous of Schefter. Probably thinks the Shanahans are the reason Schefter made it big, hates anything to do with him.

I’ve never heard him say a positive thing about Kyle. Meanwhile, the rest of the league tries to hire every guy who ever came within 5 feet of him

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@jbarro But manual transmissions keep drivers off their phones.

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@Graham_SFN Is my Nik Bonitto comp just wishcasting?

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@Graham_SFN @DylanIsADragon His podcast should be blocked. Doesn’t seem to understand ball, doesn’t seem to stop him from saying stuff.

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@akashanav Risk of Shula getting a head job and Raheem going back there?

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@StatsOnFire @QuickStopScoops @JavierVeg_ Can you describe what you mean when you say they run “it?”

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@akashanav That dude is such a clown.

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@sfdata9ers Do you have it based on DVOA?

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@VicTafur Cue the ESPN talking heads saying they should trade CMC back in March, clearly a “rebuild.”

It’s the best coaching job in the NFL this year, hands down.

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@VicTafur Orlovsky said this AM Shanahan wins it. Island game Saturday night for the 1 seed. They win it? After this season? Sunday AM shows push the Kyle narrative. “How has he never won COY? This was his best coaching job.” It ain’t out of the realm.

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@VicTafur You didn’t give it to Kyle in 2019 when his team was the surprise turnaround story. Not in ‘23 when his team was the dominant 1 seed. If he guides this team to the #1 seed, come on…

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@LombardiHimself Remember, JJ’s contract drama happened after they voided BA’s guarantee. Nobody reported on it at the time but JJ definitely knew…bad blood?

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@LombardiHimself What game are you watching? The play was designed to go short both times. It was taken away. The consensus best play caller in the NFL didn’t expect the plays to be covered. The defense is trying, too.

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@LombardiHimself You may have noticed that 15 and 5 ran the same route. One of them should have been wide open but they clearly screwed it up.

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@LombardiHimself And yet some people still yearn for Leonard Floyd 🤦🏻‍♂️

[Kevin August @kevinaugalameda]

@Graham_SFN Sure looked like the knee hit before the ball came out.
