@benmoores2 I enjoyed this list, but the picture used for the "Bremen sub pen" is seemingly the one in Bordeaux instead of what Bremen actually has (the Valentin submarine assembly bunker) and the picture for Berlin actually shows flak towers in Vienna
AABS grantee @KevinAxe16 presents his paper, “Peripheral Liberalism. (Post-) Socialist Estonia as Enduring Hub of Market Thought,” at #AABS2024
Kevin concludes from his research that Estonia bore liberal ideas outside the western core, and spread those ideas 1/3
@LeftNorthwoods I haven't been to RC in a few years, but that area is generally pretty moderate. Voted for Obama twice by a large margin (for a rural area) and until recently, only had moderate congresspeople. But perhaps this has to do with the Catholic/Lutheran population
AABS is pleased to announce @KevinAxe16 as the recipient of a 2023-2024 Dissertation Grant - congratulations!

On Monday, Putin said Ukraine does not exist. Last night, he began his bid to wipe it from the map. But Ukraine is a real place, with a real history, and it will never be erased. https://t.co/R4vu1MOH5J
