The long-awaited Rongai Queen, Nala, has finally received treatment from the dedicated KWS Vets (Sheldrick Trust). Thanks to the relentless efforts of BRF and the Mara Ranger Teams, this intervention was made possible. Let’s continue to keep her in our prayers for a speedy and full recovery.

Nala had shown signs of improvement, and we did not expect her condition to deteriorate so suddenly. Once again, the swift response of the KWS vets proves their unwavering commitment—stepping in without hesitation whenever the situation becomes critical.

At the same time, our sincere gratitude goes to KWS for their immediate action in treating elephants affected by HWC and six poisoned lions in Oloisukut Conservancy. Sadly, two lions remain in critical condition, but we are hopeful justice will prevail, with the culprits arrested and brought to court. Too many cases in the past have been left unresolved—we need stronger action to secure a clear and safe Mara for wildlife.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone standing strong for Nala and for the Mara’s predators. 💛

If time allows, our next updates on treatment will cover Oloimina and/or 1 of the 5 Fig Tree Boys.

@jumaf3 It's a control issue by management. Worked as a case manager at a counseling agency. Mandatory Monday meetings. 70km drive just to wait 3 hours for the program director to hand out copies of stats they could have emailed. Guess they have to justify their positions somehow..lol
