Coach Richard Wilson and his football staff are father figures, uncles, big brothers, cousins, mentors and life coaches to the young men enrolled at Arkansas Baptist College.
A study by the University of California Berkeley indicated that only 5% of Black males who enrolled in college would be involved in the criminal justice system during the academic calendar year.
This data suggests that recruiting young men to College while also preparing and enhancing their employability and workforce preparation are formulas to create safer communities and disrupt the "Pipeline to Prison".
