On wednesday the 5th of August at around 9am, my driver got hijacked on the N12 just after the 2x Sasol Garages near Protea Glen Soweto. The hijackers took the little money that he had on him, tied his hands and dumped him at an open veld near Lefereng in Soweto. (We thank God they didnt hurt him). He manage to walk until he got to Green Village where he was able to get someone to untie him.
At around 2pm, his bakkie was recovered in these condition, stripped.
Be careful when driving guys, always ensure your doors are locked, windows closed, make sure you don't stop for anyone. This country is not safe.

Michael Lomas, who admitted to his role in the R745 million Eskom corruption scheme, received a wholly suspended sentence under a deal with the IDAC. His Black co-accused, Maphoko Hudson Kgomoeswana, was sentenced to 5 years’ direct imprisonment for stealing R6 million.
Two sisters have appeared in the Mbombela High Court after being accused of allegedly murdering their 62-year-old mother in a plot to claim an R80,000 insurance payout.
The State alleges they lured their mother to a house in Barberton, where she was kidnapped, assaulted, raped and strangled to death with the help of accomplices. Prosecutors say the suspects then placed her body on a railway line to make it appear she had died in a train accident so they could claim the accidental death benefit from her insurance policy.
The alleged plan was foiled when a passerby spotted the body before a train arrived and alerted authorities. The case is continuing in the Mbombela High Court, and the accused remains innocent unless proven guilty in court.
South Africa is a lawless country where illegal immigrants flee from Gauteng and enter the Free State Qwaqwa rather than returning home and open spaza shops.
