Thinking of buying ripple:native for the longterm, based on the fundamentals:

The SEC lawsuit is finally done — Ripple settled for $125M, way less than the $2B the SEC wanted. XRP is legally not a security on public markets, which is huge.

Institutions can now actually use it without legal headaches. Banks are plugging into Ripple's ODL corridors for cross-border payments, the XRPL just hit $3.5B in tokenized real-world assets, and daily transactions tripled since mid-2025.

Yeah the price is down 26% this year and sitting near $1.16 — but that's kind of the point. The legal overhang that crushed it for 5 years is gone. ETFs are live. The infrastructure is actually being built.

$2+ feels reasonable if adoption keeps up. Could be wrong, but the risk/reward here looks interesting to me .
