As someone who grew up in western Nebraska, I can tell you that it’s about 30 miles between Ogallala and Julesburg, not 130. My beloved NPM got the facts in the story correct, but the headline is wrong.
There's a 130-mile stretch without any public electric vehicle chargers on I-76 between Ogallala, Nebraska and Julesburg, Colorado. Though there are more EVs on the road, the number of rural chargers isn't keeping up.

@emfundertaker Been that way for years. When I was with Legal Aid (years ago) the first $50 passed through to the obligee, but the rest went to the state.
it was approved in a possibly fraudulent election, and it was amended by another unauthorized group. The court decided, however, that admission was basically a political question to be decided by Congress and the 1866 constitution was valid.”
Electing judges is a horrible idea. Look at any state that does that and tell me you want judges campaigning for office, with all that involves. If you’re saying we need more information about judges to make a decision on retention, that’s one thing. But electing? No.
Why do we vote to retain judges & not vote them in? Where’s the info about them & their decisions? Prisons are overcrowded, Douglas county built a kids jail, & the state wants a new prison. How can you hold them accountable? They don’t campaign or engage with the public?
