We have to wait because the train can’t run ahead of schedule, and the Thompson side trip normally takes 8 hours. We should get to Churchill on time. It’s bad news for those expecting to board In Thompson, though.

Our train to Churchill spent the night standing at The Pas because of a derailment of a freight train on the branch to Thompson. Normally the train goes there but will not do so today while the mess is cleared.
