Surprising that we are debating about this topic. Mr Elumelu was addressed in a way he wasnโt okay with and he corrected her immediately. She took the correction and addressed him properly.
What exactly is the problem?
She put her foot out there, made a mistake, was corrected, made the adjustment, and her question was STILL respected.
Like Ms Frizzle used to say on Magic School Bus, "Make mistakes. That is the best way to learn!"
Don't get stuck on one's errors when they're getting better.
I believe we all piled on this young lady a little too much.
Did her introduction come across as disrespectful? Yes it did but you can see that it is because she did not know any better.

My neighborโs mum is a business owner who deals in large sales, she just got scammed of Ghc45K this morning through Momo fraud๐!
Apparently she was supposed to send that amount to a client today then suddenly she got the call and the caller said he had been waiting and what time was she going to send the money. Due to the pressure she instructed her son to do the transaction only to find out later it was scam!
Theyโve called the number and itโs active still, MTN hasnโt helped! Is there any agency in Ghana that can do the tracking for her?
