This idea that I should be worried about getting a visa to America simply because I have an opinion is actually part of the problem we need to address as Africans. For the longest time, we have been made to believe that criticizing these so called “first world countries” might cost us an opportunity to visit them, and sadly, that fear has kept so many people silent.
I have always believed that these visa restrictions exist by design. You make people so desperate for access to your country that they become afraid to question you, while making millions from visa applications that don’t even guarantee entry. Meanwhile, we are busy welcoming citizens of these same countries into our nations, some without even requiring a visa.
I think we have spent far too long giving these countries power over us, including the power to determine what we can and cannot say about them , yet they say the worst about us.Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but the winds of change will blow across Africa.
We will make Africa Great Again!!And I genuinely hope we get to a point where no African feels the need to silence themselves just to qualify for a visa.
Notice how Kagame isn't even in this press briefing and lets ministers do their jobs.
If it was any other African country, the president would be explaining this himself, for the shine.
@JoeyMannarino Somalians have been tested to have lowest IQ on the planet... yet, they have infiltrated & robbed your country of billions... so, the REAL question is... how fucking stupid are Americans???
As a South African I want to say, CONGRATULATIONS TO RWANDA, I hope this 10 year deal is a drop in the ocean, when it comes to investment that will be coming your way & that the money is used to better your lives.
🇷🇼👏🏽 Go be amazing hosts, fly Africa high and Rwanda higher
Why shit on rwanda yet our own country is still controlled by colonizers who own 90% of our wealth, when will we black south africans stop bragging about white south african's property 😭😭😭😭
A big win for Rwanda but a very big win for Kenya! 🇰🇪 Nairobi has the biggest 5 star bed space in East Africa, The best places to visit and the most hospitable people! We will compliment Rwanda than any other country in East Africa. Thank you @f1
Imagine mocking our president for putting his country on the global stage when your country’s name is literally a compass direction followed by a continent. 😂 Perhaps focus on giving the world a reason to look your way instead of ridiculing a country that’s making moves. 🇷🇼😉
@CheetahPlains Worry not on how they afford their things, as long as they not starving they good.
Cheer for your neighbours when their stars starts to shine ✨️
