Doing this thing tomorrow.
Bib number 1427 if anyone wants to see where I collapse on the course π
I'm only doing the Olympic distance which seems insane enough as it is.

@Rainmaker1973 They use the same concept for the Southbank Centre in London. The point about it is inclusivity as opposed to simply being accessible. I.e. the disabled person doesn't have to go out of sight to an entrance round the back or side.
@GavCross Completely agree, and I hoped for the same. I got to be honest though, I do come back every now and then for entertainment if I am feeling too happy for some reason.
@SkintLondon That's tragic. I always big up UK for not being short sited and destroying the heritage like that, like other places in the world (e.g. Vancouver), I hope this isnt a new trend.
So saddening.
Another brilliant starter pack for many of the political voices (not mainstream) you might already follow on here who are all transferring to ππ

@hannahityfair2@fascinatorfun That is fantastic. I love the old architecture, and often comment (to myself if no-one is around), how masterful the craftsmen were.
They would turn in their graves if they knew what Vancouver does to old houses.
@imshanereaction@SoozUK Fully agree. Living in N.America (Canada), they are convinced that they don't have an accent. "Everyone has an accent you twat" and then if I really want to push their buttons, I add "perhaps not for people from Africa where humans originated"
