🚨🚨🎙️| Radja Nainggolan on former Belgium coach Roberto Martinez:
“He is not a football expert, he’s a very poor coach. Belgium could have won titles if it wasn’t for him.
“With Martinez, there was no tactics or strategy. When we were in trouble, it was, pass to Hazard, or to De Bruyne, or to Lukaku. Never any style, never any tactics.
“Today, I tell myself that I would have preferred to play for Indonesia, for the respect they would have shown me.”
🚨🇨🇮 Bastian Schweinsteiger is facing accusations of racism after comments he made about Ivory Coast following Germany's 2-1 victory.
The former Germany midfielder described Ivory Coast as playing “a bit African style, a bit unconventional, a bit wild and perhaps not overly disciplined tactically,” adding that it made them an unpredictable team.
Ivory Coast head coach Emerse Faé responded:
🗣️ “I find this disappointing. Schweinsteiger was a great footballer. I've always admired his understanding of the game, but as a person, I'm disappointed. If we want, we can call it racism; we need to call things by their right names.”
Faé also stressed that African teams are not only physically strong but also technically and tactically accomplished, adding that he hopes Schweinsteiger's remarks were simply an unfortunate choice of words rather than a reflection of his true beliefs.
Deschamps has brashly taken all of his best players and fashioned them into the most lethal attacking unit in world football, sure.
But do they have the squad balance, leadership and cohesion provided by the likes of Dan Burn, Jordan Henderson and Anthony Gordon? I think not.
@ntsa_kenya are your systems designed to frustrate citizens intentionally? Why do I have to take biometrics to renew my smart dl when I already had one before? This is retrogressive
@WilliamsRuto@Pettikim Uncle, kwani the people who draft your statements have abandoned you? Please don’t lose your mind before 2027. We need you to experience the wrath of the people in your right state of mind!! Vumilia tu kidogo. WANTAM!!!
For months we have been hearing that United aren't signing players who do not give us priority. This is to avoid the Di Maria signings of the past. And credit to them, they did this to great success last summer. Cunha, Mbeumo, Sesko wanted only us.
If Fernandes chooses Spurs over us even with CL football, don't you think he wasn't the right player for us to begin with? Another Woodward'esque signing: getting someone who isn't fully committed to us? (I am not saying Fernandes is, but suppose the reports are right and he wants Spurs because of higher wages and the London factor.)
Fwiw, I think the media blitz is Mendes' doing, and Fernandes still ends up at Utd. But on the off chance he goes to Spurs because his agent said so, then fuck him. You can't build culture with such players.
