@bobdebilde@MeathGAA To paraphrase Jack O’Connor
“We've been written off to f**k! Completely written off. And Kerry and Meath teams written off in knockout games Croke Park are dangerous."
This Meath team have enormous self belief. Credit to them. Their time is now.
Comhgairdeachas @MeathGAA.
The spirit within this young group of players is outstanding.
After beating Dublin, Kerry and Galway, maybe now they will be seriously considered as serious contenders?
This is your time!
🗣"I always said I'd say when I get a chance if I'm on a bit of a platform..."
🗣"...it drives me nuts."
James McCarthy has been waiting a long time to say this #GAA

Please see the wording & the rationale behind our proposed regulation change, which will go before clubs for a vote at tomorrow night's County Committee meeting in Dunganny.
Our family are doing a sponsored walk on Saturday in aid of @gfcwalterstown. We would be very grateful if you could donate a few Euro by clicking on the link below. #WalkForWalterstown

No consideration shown for us as dual players and being asked to choose between teams and pick which final to play. It’s time to change! More communication is needed to not let this affect players again @meathladiesMLGF@OffMeathCamog@truefergallynch@HSmeath@MeathGAA
Well done to the @ColaisteNaMi 2nd yrs who made history today when they won the schools' 1st ever title. They got the better of Ardscoil Phádraig to take the Nrth @gaaleinster title (4-8 to 4-4). Well done Oisin, Caiden, Cormac, Darragh, James, Matthew, Andrew, Charlie & Alex
What this group of players have achieved this year is nothing short of incredible. I’ll be forever grateful to each and every one of them and the club for allowing me to be part of this amazing journey. It has been a remarkable run and they’re not finished yet.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the @TrimGAAClub supporters for cheering the boys on all year! It was heartwarming to see such a reception for our great players after the game. #16thMan
Big grey area in GAA.
The rulebook states “To charge an opponent in the back or to the front”.
IMO the action of taking a ‘specky’ is not deemed a charge. We are taught to jump with the knee up & if the opposition is standing under the ball then it is at his own risk.
