Went 2-2 the other night doing a job on a hit and run and putting the ball in play down 2 strikes for a stretched double. Also had some smooth plays at 3B.

Kevin Thatcher (‘27, IL) with another good swing here from the right side. Hammered the ball for a double here on this swing. Quick hands with an inside path showing feel for the barrel. @PG_Illinois @PG_Uncommitted @hittersbaseba11 #BattleForTheMW

[Perfect Game Iowa @IowaPG]

Kevin Thatcher (‘27, IL) steps on this one and drives it deep. Hammered this one & it got out quick, leaving the yard for a HR💣!! Athletic in the box w/ good bat speed present. @PG_Illinois @PG_Uncommitted @hittersbaseba11 #BattleForTheMW

[Kevin Thatcher @kevthatch17]

Had a good day at the plate going 2-2 with a hustled single along with a walk. Finished the game with a 95 EV ball up the middle with 2 strikes.
Also made a heads up play at 3B to end the inning.
