Story: How our "Mendelian Genetics DO IT YOURSELF Kit" was created?
The idea for Principles of Inheritance Mendelian Genetics Kit didn’t start in a lab. It started with a simple observation, students everywhere were struggling.
Again and again, we hear the same thing from biology students. Whether in schools, medical colleges, agriculture, veterinary, or nursing programs: “Mendelian Genetics is confusing.” The ratios 3:1, 1:2:1, 9:3:3:1 all seem like numbers to memorize rather than patterns to understand. Even though these ratios are the very foundation of genetics, students find them abstract, distant, and dry.
But why?

We decided to change that. We took it as a challenge. What if we could bring Mendel’s experiments back to life, but in a classroom or even at home? No need for greenhouses, no long waiting times, and no complex equipment.
My team, of creative thinkers worked to simplify what Mendel did into something students could do themselves. After months of brainstorming, trial, and testing, we developed a proprietary method that allows students to perform inheritance experiments without growing plants. They can now cross “traits,” analyze “offspring,” and calculate ratios: all through hands-on models, interactive materials, and real data simulation. And just like Mendel, they can see patterns emerge, not by memorizing, but by experimenting.
That’s how the Principles of Inheritance Mendelian Genetics DIY Kit was born. A kit that transforms abstract ratios into real experiences, turning confusion into curiosity, and memorizing into understanding.
Now it is being launched in 2 versions "introductory version" for school kids and "advanced version for higher education and professional courses as a DIY kit.
