The sound effects are super exaggerated, with endless thuds and drums that make the intense scenes feel like they go on forever. I definitely prefer a cleaner, more organic sound. Still, a really good movie overall! 7/10
was a bit hesitant at first because of all the online noise about the casting, but seeing it in action, the actors completly nailed their parts. If you just focus on the actual movie & the storytelling, the representation claims fade away-the cast did a fantastic job. 1/2
As for the film itself, it definitely has that signature Chris Nolan artistic vision. It’s highly cinematic, though the story feels quite shortened and tightly packed, focusing way more on plot than action. My biggest gripe is the sound design.
Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein is a hauntingly beautiful, visually sumptuous gothic drama that prioritizes the Creature's profound heartbreak and yearning over conventional horror.
GO. WATCH. IT. NOW.
NOW I KNOW WHY! You must see BANAUE!
Not a superfan. I started bingeing Nora’s movies few months ago after recalling her movie “Thy Womb.” I watched Banaue last night. Na-curious kasi I saw in an interview na na-inlababu si Boyet kay Nora sa movie na ito! Now I know Why!😍
Himala. Her magnanimous acting on that movie deserved international recognition. But have you seen the movie “Thy Womb”? She was stunning! Her acting technique still fascinates me. Sad we can’t have more of her in the movies. Irreplaceable Actress! Rest in Peace, Ate Guy!
I was binge-watching Nora Aunor’s digitally restored classic movies a few months ago. After knowing her passing today, this hurts for some reason. Aside from being my mom’s favorite, she’s also a one-of-a-kind Filipino actress. I understand why most people like the cult-fave +
Iyak ng Malala!! 😭 Grabe naman ang buhay..ang bilis lang talaga ng panahon. ‘When life gifes you Tangerines,” kasing saya at lungkot ng Reply 1988. Iba talaga magpaiyak ang mga K-Dramas!🫶🏻
Why So Pretentious Meghan Markle!🫠
I stopped at episode 2 because I can’t take the cringe of her giggles and pretentiousness. To be fair, she’s pretty and sweet but her projection is so unreal.
Anora actress giving salutation to sex workers is the same disgusting cycle normalizing sex work, which is BTW harmful to women. Just my opinion, I was really rooting for Demi Moore to win the Oscar. She was the talk of town for almost a year. Shame Oscar! Shame..
