Four @AerLingus flights and each one has taken off 40+ minutes late. No bad weather. No reason. Just staff hassling passengers at boarding when the flight is scheduled to depart already.
Passenger with disability left at flight door @AerLingus by special assistance in #Dublin to manage getting on flight without service. Flight staff did not facilitate further care of passengers with #disability needs.
Several passengers forced by staff at @AerLingus to check bags at the gate in London only to find out bags never left on the flight. Two passengers without medication are experiencing symptoms on flight. Staff lied promising their bags would be accessible at transfer.
Can’t bring food/water on @AerLingus but they also don’t serve food/drinks on the flight?! Staff rude. Took medical supplies & related support from passengers questioning why they were needed!
@AerLingus flight crew took medical supplies and related support devices from persons with #disabilities upon boarding flight. Miserable insulting personnel. No water offered on 7hour flight.
The ongoing illicit trade in small arms & light weapons in all its aspects continues to have a wide range of humanitarian & socioeconomic consequences, and poses a serious threat to peace, reconciliation, safety, security, stability & sustainable development. #BMS8#SALW
Only when we make room for or have women insist upon their voices being heard, it will be possible for women to influence the structures of power that have cost us our safety for generations. #TPNW#NPT2022#peace4all
@united This reply is not helpful. Airline employees need proper training on accommodation for persons with disabilities. What is your plan @united given the repeated incidents where agents deny persons with disabilities their personal item on the flight @ACLU
@united flight to Denver from @Dulles_Airport forced persons with #disabilities to check their ONE bag with medical supplies carefully packed. Outrageous treatment, lack of training. space on board. Offered store bag in by flight attendant, gate agent refused @ACLU@MayorBowser
Once again @united denying those with disabilities their rights. Forced to check my ONE carry on bag only to discover enough room on flight. Another in a wheelchair made to do the same. @ACLU@USDISA@CNN
After weeks of negotiations, Kabul-Doha flights resumed as of the 26th of Jan. 227 Afghan civilians arrived in Qatar on a Qatar Airways US sponsored flight. I’d like to thank the Qatari diplomats & forces who’ve worked it out on the ground to ensure a successful operation 🇶🇦🇺🇸🤝
This afternoon, I’m hosting Amir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar for a bilateral meeting at the White House. I look forward to discussing a range of issues, including security and prosperity in the Middle East, global energy supplies, Afghanistan, and more.
