Empowering Girls in Kombo East π
The District Girls Assembly under #KEYCDA has restructured cluster platforms in Kuloro, Faraba & Kafuta β with Giboro & Sohm next!
On Day Three (16/10/24) of the KEYCDA Rural Advocacy and Campaign on SGBV, the team visited five more communities in Kombo East. Engaging discussions on SGBV's impact fostered strong local participation, with community members pledging support for the campaign.
On Day Two (15/10/24) of the KEYCDA Rural Advocacy and Campaign on SGBV in Kombo East, the caravan visited seven more communities, sparking enthusiastic discussions on ending gender-based violence. Each community showed strong support for awareness and victim support.

The KEYCDA board visited the Kombo East Alkalos Association on October 1, 2023, as part of a Community Approach towards Youth Development. The board discussed the Alliance's activities and achievements, emphasizing the need for collaboration between KEYCDA and Alkalos Association
Kombo East District Sports Committee has appointed Alieu Kebbeh as the head coach for the zonal team, effective 25/09/23. Kebbeh has agreed to all requirements and promises to deliver his best. The committee congratulates and plans to work closely with him to achieve zonal goals.
KEYCDA conducted a two-days leadership training for the Student Teachers Association executives at Gambia College. The training was part of adhoc services provided to institutions and groups. Special thanks goes to Lamin MS Jammeh and Binta Gibba for their insightful discussions.
KEYCDA at the WCR Youth Summer Camp 2023
A week-long convergence is being held at Bottrop UBS/SSS from September 1β8, 2023, and several members of the children's committee and the youth committee under the *Kombo East Youth and Children Development Alliance* were in attendance.
KEYCDA through the support of Gambia Library Project donated six boxes of Books of different field of studies to Kuloro CA Community Library.
The donation is part of our collaborative efforts to contribute to the development of Children within Kombo East District.
