Being trans gives you a very dark window from which to look out at humanity, where even something supposedly sacred and inviolable like the love of parents for their children turns out to be deeply contingent and subject to whims
On the flight back, I neither read a book nor wrote anything—I just kept “editing in my head” while listening to music. I did watch a few movies, but the only one that stuck with me was “I Saw the TV Glow,”directed by Jane Schoenbrun and distributed by A24.
She was 19.
She had her whole life ahead of her and a transphobic man stabbed her 40 times.
The media demonises and dehumanises us. They call us parasites and dangerous, to make us acceptable targets.

@ReyClipz @litteralyme0 Not really, 480p back in the analog era was essentially lossless, now YouTube heavily compresses 480p so it looks like ass. It does this with other resolutions as well, a good 480p encode looks more pleasant than YT 1080p imo
