@CuffsTheLegend I think Philly needs to go back to what got them their ring: making the offense Jalen/Barkley centric. Move Devonta back to #1 and try and get Waddle from Miami.
@DestinLegarie I think you're missing his point. He's referring to some of these influencers still wishing for marathons downfall (not supporting it or it's success) while supporting destiny 2 which has been canceled and launching a free update. We all love D2 but the hopium is toxic
@DraculShadow@longislandviper@_Tom_Henderson_ Also he's not referring to all players, but the ones that were celebrating gamepass (good for consumers, bad for business) and both big acquisitions. They shitted on him even when he forespoke about this very outcome from both companies. Go watch @IronLordPodcast fea. Colin
@DraculShadow@longislandviper@_Tom_Henderson_ I respect what you're saying. But Colin has been super vocal about both parties. He's been ripping Sony to shreds since the "Jim Ryan" era. People heavily criticized him when spoke up and was right about both ending up where we are now. Listen to his podcast. Receipts since 2021
@DetectiveSeeds I hear you, but changing that engine will not be one move I see. I can see them refining it, but it is what separates all Bungie shooters from everyone else. No other shooters on the planet come close to it and their gameplay loop.
@OGPharaoh@longislandviper@_Tom_Henderson_ I think he's referring to not only the announcement of Gamepass of yesteryear, but, of course, about the "celebration" of the zenimax and ABK acquisitions. The "spiraling" of the Xbox brand's "exclusivity" was evident back then. It was great for core fans, but bad for business.
@nathanielsquire@longislandviper@_Tom_Henderson_ He does and has done it since the infamous acquisition parties of 2021. I can tell most of you do not watch or listen to his podcast. People criticized him back when ABK and Zenimax were purchased. They did it again when criticized Sony for purchasing Bungie.
@thiccdotexe After all the outrage today, I see your point. I'm not liking where this is going and the actions surrounding it from large platform holders. Maybe I'm wrong
@JMaine518 I agree man. I don't like this whole sentiment or argument to kill marathon in hopes of getting d3. This gives validation to an older argument that streamers or people with large platforms helped killed d2. I get being upset but to go this far is bewildering
@thiccdotexe Jim Ryan killed any momentum Sony had with his live service plan. Pete Parsons and his investors swindled them for billions. Bungie's acquisition history is literally the embodiment of Destiny development woes. We all knew this moment would eventually come. Sony bought them time
@thiccdotexe I agree on that end because of the many peaks and valleys we endured since D1. I'm only saying with the circumstances now, they could do it, but they have a long road ahead. They can't even do on boarding and tutorials right. I'd get help from other Sony studios
