@TMAN1138pm @TheTwilightZone@TheNightGallery@PEZ_Heads@pophistory@them "The Jeopardy Room" is a great one. It's one of those episodes that you have to be settled on the couch, lights out, with no distractions and just really let yourself get immersed in the methodical pacing of it. Landau is great in it.
@RodSerlingFndtn Serlingfest was great this past year. I really enjoyed seeing the interview with Serling where he talked about the potential impact of living in Hollywood/Cali on him and other writers. There's always something I haven't seen before. I highly recommend people go, if you can.
@RodSerlingFndtn I'm only interested if I can order two: one for my desk at work and one for my show set. It looks beautifully done.
I appreciate the care and thoughtfulness you all put in when you're trying to create items like this with Serling's name and likeness. The caring comes through.
@TheNightGallery Such a great episode. I love the camera angle from underneath the glass card table. There are some absolute gems in terms of cinematography in the series.
@TheNightGallery This was one that stayed in my head from when I was much younger. You're placed in this wonderful state of tense anticipation--you want them to move. Great episode.
@RodSerlingFndtn His understanding that we can discern a great many things about the world around us through intellect, but we can't forget that we are a feeling species as well. No matter the artistic medium, the goal of the artist/author should be to move, to establish an emotional connection.
@ZoneSandbox@TwilightZoneNet I re-watched "Paladin of the Lost Hour" not long ago with Danny Kaye and Glynne Turman. I don't usually see it on lists of favorites, but sometimes an episode just hits you at the right time with the right message--the beauty of the Twilight Zone.
@RodSerlingFndtn I'm reminded of these words from Serling, quoted in Anne's "Afterward" to her 2021 edition: "Don't give up hope....No matter what the future brings, our capacity to rise to the occasion will remain unaltered. Our potential for tenacity and optimism continues."
@RodSerlingFndtn The further we get from the movie in time, the more we're going to appreciate the chances it took with most of the endings. There's a clear message of needing conviction and hope. The reboots and remakes of TZ serve as wonderful time capsules of what we need most at that time.
@TwilightZoneNet@IDWPublishing@EW This one has piqued my interest. I'm looking forward to seeing the tone they take with it. I like the shadowing and the play with character dimension.
